When school starts, you are so busy you subconsciously become a survivor of the fall semester! No one deserves to JUST survive. We, moms, are juggling working our own job, house duties, school schedules, practices, games, celebrations, and the almighty unexpected! So what do I do to keep my sanity?
No Green Thumb? …No Problem!
When I’m out doing events the most common thing I hear is, “ I don’t have a green thumb…I kill everything.” Even though God didn’t make everyone equal or have the same abilities, I am a firm believer that some type of plant can survive in your home! There is no reason to create stress when caring for plants in your home or even outside of your home. Plants are made to create happiness, reduce stress, clean our air, and be therapeutic.

So I asked Aaron, “So…what is hard about being married?” And in no time, he said being married to you(and gives me his usual witty smirk).” In return I give him my typical dry sarcastic laugh because he is such a peach 100% of the time (If you know Aaron and I, you know sarcasm is our love language :-) ).
How to Care for Amaryllis Post Flowering
Step 1: Once the flower stem has started to wilt, take a sharp knife and cut off the stem leaving all the green leaves. Keep watering it on a regular basis until it is time to fill your outside pots with annuals. Amaryllis need to continue to grow to replenish the nutrition it used to grow the flower and the leaves will help with this all summer!
